Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan withdrew additional military forces from border

Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan have completed the withdrawal of forces from the border line, the press service of the Kyrgyz Border Service of the State Committee for National Security (SS GKNB) of Kyrgyzstan reported on Monday.
"The parties have completed the withdrawal of additional forces and assets from the state border into their territories. A joint commission consisting of officers of the defense departments of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan continues to work to inspect the territories where additional forces and assets were located," the message says.
According to the ministry, as of 9:30 on May 3, the situation on the Kyrgyz-Tajik section of the state border is stable. No incidents or shootings were recorded over the past night.
According to the latest data, 34 people were killed on the Kyrgyz side during the four-day conflict, 178 people were injured. Among the dead are three Kyrgyz servicemen. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, all those killed in the conflict were killed from firearms.
