Law enforcers find bitcoin miners in Gori culture house, owned by local official

The Georgian State Security Service has found bitcoin miners in Gori culture house in central Georgia, belonging to Giorgi Kvatadze, Deputy Director of the Culture Agency in Gori City Hall, consuming about 6,000 GEL worth of electricity monthly.
Kvatadze has admitted to the crime, but was not arrested, he only faced a fine.
The miners have allegedly been operational for two years.
They are currently sealed, while the investigation is in progress.
Employees of the culture center said that they knew nothing about the miners.
