Georgian analyst praises Zelenskyy’s leadership as global security concerns grow

Georgian analyst Lela Jejelava has commended Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for his steadfast defense of his country’s interests, stating that his approval rating has significantly increased as a result.

“Zelenskyy was incredibly correct, brave in defending his country’s interests and positions, and his rating has really grown,” Jejelava said.
She also noted that even Zelenskyy’s political opponents have taken responsible and state-oriented positions in response to recent developments. Despite strong remarks from US President Donald Trump, Ukraine’s national unity remains unshaken, Jejelava emphasized.

Jejelava further pointed out that European leaders have responded adequately to the shifting geopolitical landscape and appear to be taking action in light of new security challenges.

Commenting on the broader implications of US foreign policy, Jejelava suggested that America is no longer a reliable security guarantor for its allies. She argued that Trump’s rhetoric, while aimed at articulating US state interests, ultimately weakens America’s standing rather than harming its intended targets.
