Lelo proposes female candidate for Tbilisi mayor

Lelo for Georgia opposition party has nominated Ana Bibilashvili for Tbilisi mayor in the October 2 municipal elections. 

 

One of the founders of the party Badri Japaridze will run for the head of Tbilisi City Assembly. 

 

Lelo founder Mamuka Khazaradze said that ‘Ana is professional, a successful mother and an architect.’ 

 

Bibilashvili’s main competitors in the race will be the ruling Georgian Dream party candidate for Tbilisi mayor Kakha Kaladze and the joint candidate of the United National Movement and three other opposition parties for the position Nika Melia.
