Levan Nikoleishvili, an expert and a member of the civil movement United Neutral Georgia, has voiced his support for the anti-drug reform announced by the parliamentary majority, emphasizing the importance of fostering a healthy generation alongside national security, defense, economic stability, and energy independence.

In a social media post, Nikoleishvili stated that tightening drug policy and holding drug dealers criminally accountable is a patriotic duty. He stressed that building a strong state requires not only ensuring security and resilience but also cultivating a society free from harmful substances.

“As we build our country, it is essential to ensure its security, defense capabilities, economic stability, and energy independence. Equally important is raising a healthy generation. Therefore, strengthening drug policy and holding drug traffickers criminally accountable is a vital and patriotic task. As a small nation, we must focus on education, technological advancement, and sports achievements—areas where we have great talent and potential. These are the key foundations for Georgia’s sustainable and wise development,” Nikoleishvili wrote.
