Georgia’s upcoming 10-year national strategy will outline clear, measurable goals for each Government agency to achieve by specific years, followed by detailed action plans and budget planning based on the strategy, Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzjoliani said on Friday.
He added the renewed document would include updated national objectives and a more concise structure.
“The Prime Minister announced [...] the Government of Georgia will begin work on a new 10-year strategy for 2026–2035. We currently operate under the 2030 strategy, but the updated version will reflect revised goals”, Zhorzholiani said.
He highlighted that each ministry and sector would have “clearly defined targets” for each year, ensuring transparency and accountability in implementation.
“After that, a concrete action plan will be developed and budget planning will be aligned accordingly. Both the Government and the public should know where each sector and infrastructure project will stand in several years and what results will be achieved in areas such as the economy, agriculture, environmental protection, healthcare and defence”, Zhorzholiani added.
