Georgia has placed 13th in Europe and 24th worldwide in the latest Coordinated Governance Index, a result the Government Administration attributes to recent institutional reforms.
The ranking was published by the Chandler Institute as part of its Good Government 2025 report, which evaluates the effectiveness of intergovernmental coordination across countries.
Speaking on Monday, Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani said the assessment reflected progress made in strengthening coordination mechanisms within the public sector.
“The Government Administration plays a central role in coordinating interagency work and ensuring the effective oversight of government decisions,” he noted. “Given the institutional strengthening measures implemented in recent years - including those led by the Administration - it is not surprising that Georgia has achieved this result.”
He added that the score demonstrated the impact of reforms aimed at improving government efficiency and cooperation between state bodies.
