Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani has welcomed the findings of a recent study published by the Chandler Institute of Governance, saying the Georgian Government will continue efforts to improve the country’s performance across key governance and economic indicators.

Speaking about the report, Zhorzholiani noted that the study is based on assessments and data from international institutions, including the United Nations, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund.

According to him, the research evaluates a range of factors that are important for state effectiveness and economic development, including integrity in public administration, the quality of the judiciary and bureaucracy, the stability of business regulations and the country’s ability to attract foreign investment.

He added that Georgia has achieved “significant progress” in these areas in recent years and stressed that the Government remains committed to further improvements.
