Georgia’s prime minister will speak on international trade and logistics at the World Governments Summit, the head of the government administration, Levan Zhorzholiani, said on Tuesday.
The official noted that attending the summit with a government delegation would highlight sectors seen as “strategically important” for the country, including railways, highway construction and port infrastructure, where the state has been investing heavily.
Zhorzholiani added that the prime minister would also take part in a roundtable discussion focused on attracting foreign direct investment, which he described as a key government priority.
Members of the Georgian delegation are expected to participate in sector-specific panel discussions, while a series of bilateral meetings is also planned on the sidelines of the summit, the official said.
