Gov’t Administration head discusses Georgia-Turkey strategic ties with new ambassador

Head of Georgia’s government administration Levan Zhorzholiani has held talks with Turkey’s ambassador to Georgia, Mustafa Turker Arı, focusing on strategic partnership, regional connectivity and stability in the South Caucasus.
According to the government administration, Zhorzholiani congratulated the ambassador on the start of his diplomatic mission and wished him success in his role.
The meeting focused on the strategic partnership between Georgia and Turkey, as well as the high level of political and economic ties between the two countries. The sides also highlighted productive cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats.
Discussions also covered the strategic importance of the Middle Corridor trade route and cooperation between Georgia and Turkey on its further development.
The sides underlined the importance of peace and stability in the South Caucasus for the sustainable development and prosperity of the region.
