Leyen warns of further interruption in Russian gas supply, announces emergency plan

We should prepare for the further interruption of natural gas supply and even the complete cessation of Russian natural gas, President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, said at the plenary session of the European Parliament on Wednesday.

Layen stated that the European Commission was working on an emergency plan over energy, which it would  present by the middle of July.

She said that “It is clear Putin continues to use energy as a weapon,”  so the Commission was working on an emergency plan for Europe.
