Žygimantas Pavilionis, the Chairman of the Lithuanian Seimas Foreign Affairs Committee, has sharply criticized EU Ambassador to Georgia Paweł Herczyński for his recent meeting with Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili.

Pavilionis took to the social platform X to express his disapproval, writing, “Shame on you, Paweł Herczyński, you do not represent the EU.”

The meeting, which took place yesterday, was confirmed by the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. According to the statement by the foreign office, the discussion centered on key aspects of Georgia-EU relations, with a focus on the country’s ongoing EU integration process.
