Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron called on Russia to undertake obligations to stabilize the ceasefire in Donbas.
This was reported on the website of the Elysee Palace.
On March 30, Macron, Merkel and Putin discussed the situation in Donbass.
"The need was stressed for Russia to take on a firm commitment to stabilize the ceasefire in Ukraine and develop ways out of the crisis in accordance with the Minsk agreements," the message says.
The website of the German government reports that Macron and Merkel called for negotiations in the Normandy format on the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
