Georgia’s Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili has met United States Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Sonata Coulter to discuss bilateral relations and future cooperation, her office said on Friday.

The meeting focused on relations between Georgia and the United States, as well as prospects for expanding cooperation between the two countries.

The sides also underlined what the ministry described as the United States’ strong support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Officials further discussed future steps in bilateral relations and confirmed their readiness to continue strengthening cooperation.
