Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili on Friday said the Ministry would use diplomatic channels to address recent public statements made by EU Ambassador Paweł Herczyński, adding “we will have the opportunity to meet him in Tbilisi when he returns from Brussels.

“We will once again reiterate the position that has already been voiced by politicians in Tbilisi and which is troubling for us. The current attitude of the EU bureaucracy toward Georgia is concerning. It is particularly troubling to see the interests and choices of the Georgian people being ignored, especially when there is so often speculation precisely in the name of those interests. We are hearing such speculation from Brussels even now. Of course, we will discuss this”, she said.
