Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili said on Saturday that Georgia's strategic choice remains integration into the European Union, stressing the country's foreign policy priorities ahead of a panel discussion at the Dubrovnik Forum in Croatia.
Speaking to journalists before the discussion on multivector diplomacy, Botchorishvili said the topic was particularly relevant for Georgia given its geographical location and the current geopolitical environment.
She said Georgia was strengthening partnerships and seeking closer ties with countries across different regions to better utilise its role as a regional connectivity hub.
"The only goal is to make more effective use of the role Georgia has today in the wider region, which is linked to connectivity. This does not mean that we are replacing our strategic objectives," Botchorishvili said.
The Minister added that she would make it clear in her address that Georgia's strategic choice is integration into the European Union, describing it as a key direction for the country.
