Georgian Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili has held an introductory meeting with Indian Ambassador to Georgia Amit Kumar Mishra to discuss bilateral relations and prospects for expanding cooperation.
Mishra began his diplomatic mission in Georgia in March, the Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
The two sides discussed the development of relations between Georgia and India and prospects for strengthening their partnership.
They highlighted progress in bilateral trade and economic relations and stressed the importance of deepening cooperation in various fields.
Botchorishvili wished the Indian ambassador success in his diplomatic mission.
