Georgian FM to attend US-hosted counterterrorism ministerial in Washington

Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili will travel to Washington to attend a ministerial meeting on the resurgence of political terrorism at the invitation of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Georgia's Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.

The Ministry confirmed that Botchorishvili will participate in the ministerial, which is scheduled to take place on Thursday.

The body also said Rubio will host delegations from more than 60 countries for the meeting, which will focus on the re-emergence of political terrorism.
