Georgian FM, US Ambassador discuss bilateral ties

Georgia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, on Friday met with US Ambassador Robin Dunnigan to discuss the strategic partnership between the two nations, the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

The discussions focused on deepening cooperation, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to strengthening relations based on shared values and interests, the Ministry press office said.

The meeting also addressed regional and global security challenges, highlighting the importance of continued US support.

The Ministry further noted Georgia and the United States had built a “strong partnership over decades, which serves as a solid foundation for future collaboration”.

Both officials expressed their readiness to work actively towards further progress in bilateral ties.
