Georgian Vice Prime Minister and State Minister for Coordination of Law Enforcement Bodies Mamuka Mdinaradze has held talks with representatives of the US State Department, focusing on bilateral relations and future cooperation between Georgia and the United States.

The Government Administration on Thursday said the meeting addressed prospects for future collaboration and plans to renew the strategic partnership between the two countries.

The sides reportedly reaffirmed their readiness to continue cooperation aimed at strengthening bilateral ties while taking national interests into account.

Regional developments were also discussed during the meeting, with particular emphasis placed on the importance of the Middle Corridor - a trade route linking Europe and China via the South Caucasus and Central Asia - and Georgia’s role as a reliable strategic partner in the wider region.
