Mamuka Mdinaradze, the Executive Secretary of the ruling Georgian Dream party, addressed the residents of Guria, Western region of Georgia, during a regional campaign, emphasizing the importance of reconciliation and unity with the Russian-occupied Abkhazian and Ossetian communities, stressing that Georgia’s path to European integration must be achieved peacefully, with dignity, and for the well-being of all.

“We must tell our Abkhazian and Ossetian brothers and sisters that we will inevitably reunite with each other as soon as possible, through mutual forgiveness, reconciliation, and love,” Mdinaradze stated.

He also touched on the ‘broader challenges’ facing Georgia, including the fight against LGBT propaganda, which he described as a threat to the nation’s cultural survival. He stressed the need for a constitutional majority to address these issues and criticized the opposition for its alleged ties to foreign interests, asserting that Georgia must maintain its sovereignty and independence at all costs.

He concluded by rallying support for the upcoming October 26 elections, declaring that a victory for the ruling team is a victory for all of Georgia. “Our country, our Georgia, our homeland—friends, let us toast to that!” Mdinaradze declared.
