The ruling party Georgian Dream has announced plans to simplify procedures related to reorganization in the public sector.

Mamuka Mdinaradze, the party’s Executive Secretary, introduced the initiative during a briefing following a majority caucus meeting.

“A legislative amendment will simplify reorganization processes in the public sector. This step will promote the health and efficiency of public institutions,” Mdinaradze stated.

The announcement comes in the wake of growing criticism from employees of various public institutions following Georgian Dream’s decision to postpone EU membership negotiations until 2028.
