One individual has contracted Covid-19 in Georgia three times, doctor of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases Revaz Mechurchlishvili stated earlier today.

He said that the man suffered a mild form of the virus, mostly with headache and a runny nose.

“There might be other individuals around the country who have got Covid-19 three times. However, currently the statistics are unavailable,” Mechurchlishvili said.

He stated that the people who have already recovered from coronavirus, believe that they may not contract the virus again, or have it in a mild form ‘which is wrong.’

Mechurchlishvili encouraged people to get the jab.
