Wife of Levan Dotiashvili, a local in the Kirbali village in central Georgia’s Gori municipality, on Friday told the press his husband, who has been released from illegal detention, had no information of Tamaz Ginturi’s death, with whom he appeared at a church this week, where Russian-controlled occupation forces killed the 58-year-old veteran of the Russia-Georgia 2008 war.

Wife said his husband was unable to speak due to stress and suffered some visual injuries, after handover to the central Georgian Government late on Thursday.

The de facto Tskhinvali authorities this week released a video, following Ginturi’s killing on Monday, which depicted the victim and 33-year-old Dotiashvili opening the door of the Kirbali church, illegally blocked by the occupying forces last month.

The video does not depict the appearance of occupiers at the scene and was allegedly recorded by Ginrturi himself before his murder.
