Georgia’s spring parliamentary session opens with national anthem

The plenary session of Georgia’s spring parliamentary session was opened with the national anthem, marking the official start of the legislative period.

Under the Constitution and parliamentary rules, Georgia holds two main sessions each year - a spring session and an autumn session.

The spring session begins on the first Tuesday of February and concludes on the last Friday of June.
