Medical workers are now rallying in front of the country’s Health Ministry, demanding a 100 percent increase in their salaries, stating that the increase was promised during the coronavirus pandemic.

The ambulance doctors said on Tuesday that they used to receive supplements during the pandemic and were promised the money would be added to their regular salaries after the pandemic was over.

They say that currently they receive ₾500 less salary.
