Levan Khabeishvili, the chair of the United National Movement, on Monday said the party’s former chairperson Nika Melia “no longer represent” the group in office between 2004-2012.

In his press comments, Khabeishvili claimed Melia had distanced himself from the party over the past eight months and had been engaged in damaging the party’s interests.

For his part, Melia has called Khabeishvili a “puppet” in the hands of former UNM officials, Vano MNerabishvili and David Kezerashvili.
