German Chancellor Angela Merkel has no prejudices against the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine and is ready to be vaccinated with it.

"I would have taken the AstraZeneca vaccine, but I have to wait for my turn. I would have done it anyway," Merkel told reporters in Berlin on Friday following consultations with the heads of the federal states of Germany.

Vaccination with the drug manufactured by AstraZeneca was previously suspended in several EU countries due to reports of adverse reactions, but then vaccination was resumed.
