Georgia’s Interior Ministry on Tuesday said 101 foreign nationals have been expelled from the country in recent days following coordinated operations led by its Migration Department.
The measures were carried out in close cooperation with other relevant units, the ministry said. Those expelled were citizens of multiple countries, including Turkmenistan, India, Iraq, Azerbaijan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Jordan, Kenya, Sudan, Belarus, Uganda, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Kyrgyzstan, Zimbabwe and Lebanon.
Officials said the latest figures reflected a sharp increase in enforcement activity. In the first four months of this year alone, the number of expulsions has nearly matched the total for the whole of 2025.
