Georgia deports 105 foreign nationals in migration enforcement operations

The ministry added that, since the beginning of the year, a total of 806 foreign nationals residing in Georgia without legal grounds have been expelled

Georgia has deported 105 foreign nationals in recent days as part of migration enforcement measures, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has said.
The individuals expelled were citizens of multiple countries, including Turkey, India, China, Russia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Jordan, Morocco, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Belarus, Egypt, Lebanon, Nepal and Sudan.
The deportations were carried out by the Migration Department in coordination with other relevant units, following what officials described as “complex measures”.
The ministry added that, since the beginning of the year, a total of 806 foreign nationals residing in Georgia without legal grounds have been expelled.
In line with current legislation, those deported have also been banned from re-entering the country.
