The ministry highlighted that last month alone, a total of 152 foreign nationals were removed as part of comprehensive operations

The Migration Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, working closely with other relevant units, has expelled 44 foreign nationals from the country over the past few days, the ministry announced.

According to the statement, the deported individuals were citizens of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Iran, Jordan, Pakistan, China, Russia, Armenia, Nigeria, Turkmenistan, Ghana, Iraq, Yemen, Egypt, and Lebanon.

The ministry highlighted that last month alone, a total of 152 foreign nationals were removed as part of comprehensive operations. So far this year, the total number of deportations has reached 1,131 - significantly higher than the combined figures of recent years.
