Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs has deported 84 foreign nationals following a series of migration enforcement operations carried out in recent days.

The operation was conducted by the Migration Department in coordination with other law enforcement units.

Those removed from the country included citizens of Turkey, India, Turkmenistan, Russia, Armenia, Nigeria, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Pakistan, China, Azerbaijan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Iraq, Kenya, Sudan and Thailand, among others.

The ministry said the individuals were found to be residing in Georgia in violation of the country's migration regulations.

In accordance with Georgian law, all deported individuals have also been barred from re-entering the country.
