Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs has deported 88 foreign nationals following a series of migration enforcement operations carried out in recent days.
The Ministry on Tuesday said the operation was conducted by the Migration Department in close coordination with other units of the Interior Ministry.
Those deported included citizens of Turkey, Turkmenistan, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, Russia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, China, Bangladesh, Egypt, Jordan, Nepal, Sudan and Tanzania, among others.
The ministry said the removals were carried out as part of a broader set of measures aimed at enforcing Georgia's migration legislation.
