Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili stated that ruling Georgian Dream remains the only balanced, consistent, and strong political force in the country, arguing that a healthy opposition—important for democratic development—is currently absent.

Speaking on Rustavi 2, Kavelashvili said the political tensions in Georgia are largely artificial and not reflective of voter priorities.

"There is no alternative to Georgian Dream today. Unfortunately, there is no healthy opposition, which is crucial for our country," he said. “Despite internal changes and some mistakes, Georgian Dream is the only party that listens to its voters, maintains consistency in its views, and communicates honestly with the public.”

Kavelashvili emphasized that elections should offer voters clear choices, but he believes the current political landscape lacks credible alternatives.

He added that even those who may not support Georgian Dream still recognize its role in maintaining stability and order.
