Kavlashvili reaffirmed Georgia’s commitment since 2012 to democratic principles, human rights, and the rule of law

President Mikheil Kavlashvili met with Pere Joan Pons Sampietro, President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA), in Tbilisi on Tuesday.

During the meeting, Kavlashvili welcomed Sampietro’s visit to Georgia, describing it as a valuable opportunity to discuss current issues and strengthen future cooperation. Conversations focused on the country’s ongoing political processes.

Kavlashvili reaffirmed Georgia’s commitment since 2012 to democratic principles, human rights, and the rule of law, his office said. 

Kavelashvili also highlighted the country’s “consistent role” as a constructive and responsible participant in international dialogue and multilateral cooperation.
