Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili has met the country's newly appointed ambassador to Mexico, Natalia Kordzaia, and wished her success as she prepares to begin her diplomatic mission.
Kavelashvili congratulated Kordzaia on her appointment and discussed prospects for strengthening relations between Georgia and Mexico, his office said.
The meeting focused on expanding political dialogue, economic cooperation, and cultural and people-to-people ties between the two countries.
The president said he hoped Kordzaia's work would contribute to the further development of bilateral relations and wished her success in representing Georgia's national interests and advancing the country's foreign policy priorities.
