Georgian president to pay official visit to Turkey

Turkish President will host Kavelashvili and his delegation at the presidential palace

Georgia’s President Mikheil Kavelashvili will travel to Ankara with his wife on an official visit, his press office announced on Tuesday.
During the visit, the Turkish President will host Kavelashvili and his delegation at the presidential palace, where an official welcome ceremony will be held. High-level talks are planned, followed by a joint statement to the media.
The Georgian president is also scheduled to meet Numan Kurtulmuş, Speaker of Turkey’s Grand National Assembly.
The delegation includes Deputy Foreign Minister Lasha Darsalia, Georgia’s Ambassador to Turkey Archil Kalandia, officials from the presidential administration, and members of the Georgia -Turkey parliamentary friendship group - Giorgi Chkhonia, Mariam Lashkhi and Guram Macharashvili.
