Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili has concluded his official visit to Turkey, expressing confidence that relations between the two countries will further develop.

Speaking to journalists after the meetings, Kavelashvili praised the high-level reception from the Turkish side. “The President of Turkey and the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly hosted truly top-level meetings for the Georgian delegation. I want to sincerely thank them for organising such high-level discussions,” he said.

The president noted that talks covered almost every topic and included a high-level meeting with the Turkish president. “The trust-based and respectful relationship between Georgia and Turkey gives me hope — and today strengthens my belief even more — that our relations will continue to grow,” Kavelashvili stated.
