Georgian, Croatian presidents hold first-ever bilateral meeting in Tbilisi

President Mikheil Kavelashvili held a one-on-one meeting with Croatian President Zoran Milanović at the Presidential Palace in Tbilisi, marking the first presidential-level visit between the two countries.
The leaders discussed key issues in bilateral relations, prospects for deepening cooperation, and ongoing global developments. They highlighted the existing friendship, cultural closeness, and shared values as a strong foundation for further collaboration, the President’s press office said on Thursday.
Kavelashvili stressed Georgia’s appreciation for Croatia’s support of its sovereignty and territorial integrity, while reaffirming Georgia’s backing of Croatia’s territorial integrity. The discussion also covered economic ties and sectoral cooperation between the two nations.
