President Kavelashvili wished Ambassador Adib success in his future diplomatic endeavors

President Mikheil Kavelashvili held a farewell meeting with Mahmoud Adib, the outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Georgia.

According to the presidential press service, during the meeting, President Kavelashvili thanked Ambassador Adib for his efforts in strengthening the longstanding relations between the two countries, which, he claimed, are founded on mutual respect. He also expressed gratitude for Iran’s “steadfast support” for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

President Kavelashvili wished Ambassador Adib success in his future diplomatic endeavors and expressed confidence that, with the active engagement of the incoming ambassador, relations between Georgia and Iran will continue to develop dynamically.
