Georgian President Kavelashvili awards Uzbekistan's Mirziyoyev Order of the Golden Fleece

Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili on Thursday awarded Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev the Order of the Golden Fleece, one of Georgia's state honours presented to foreign citizens for their outstanding contribution to the development of the Georgian state.

The President’s press office said Kavelashvili also thanked Mirziyoyev for Uzbekistan's firm support for Georgia's sovereignty, territorial integrity and non-recognition policy.

Mirziyoyev arrived in Georgia earlier earlier today on a state visit.
