During his inauguration speech, Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili addressed the challenge of societal polarization, which he described as artificially imposed from outside, and emphasized his commitment to being a unifying leader.

“Our country faces the challenge of artificially imposed societal polarization. For me, every citizen of Georgia is valuable, regardless of their views or political affiliation. I intend to be the president of everyone, whether they like me or not,” Kavelashvili stated.

The President pledged to dedicate his efforts to consolidating and uniting Georgian society, focusing on shared values and mutual respect.

“My future efforts will be directed toward consolidating and uniting society. Regardless of differing opinions on various issues, we must achieve unity based on our homeland, values, and the principles of mutual respect. Together, we must continue building the future we all aspire to,” Kavelashvili said.
