Georgia’s Health Minister Mikheil Sarjveladze has held a bilateral meeting with Fatmir Limani during an international ministerial event focused on demographic sustainability.

The discussions centred on the challenges countries face amid demographic change and on policy approaches aimed at strengthening social systems and improving public welfare.

Particular attention was given to family-oriented policies, youth support programmes and modern labour market trends, the ministry press office said.

The two sides also discussed the sustainability of social protection systems and the importance of sharing experience to improve the effectiveness of demographic policy. Both ministers expressed readiness to deepen cooperation in policy planning and the exchange of practical experience.
