The Minister for Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Mikheil Sarjveladze, met with Rolande Pryce, Regional Director for the South Caucasus at the World Bank, to discuss ongoing human capital projects and the implementation of an Integrated Reporting System for Social Protection (IRSSP).
The meeting focused on strengthening social protection systems and exploring opportunities to enhance employment and social services, the ministry press office said on Wednesday.
Sarjveladze stressed the close collaboration between the Ministry and the World Bank in the fields of health and social welfare, highlighting that the human capital program aimed to achieve measurable results through well-defined indicators and rigorous monitoring.
The discussions also addressed the IRSSP, which is designed to improve the management of social protection data and increase the long-term effectiveness of social programs.
World Bank representatives praised the Ministry’s ongoing work and reaffirmed their readiness to continue cooperation in these areas.
