Georgian Health Minister, French Ambassador discuss bilateral cooperation

Georgian Health Minister Mikheil Sarjveladze and French Ambassador to the country Olivier Décottignies on Monday discussed cooperation between the two countries, as well as ongoing joint programmes.

The meeting focused on issues related to healthcare and social protection, with particular attention given to the clinical sector, the Ministry said.

The discussion also covered pharmaceutical companies currently operating in Georgia.

Sarjveladze underlined the importance of partnership with France in healthcare and social protection, stating that Georgia is ready to further deepen cooperation in these areas.

The Minister and the Ambassador also discussed future joint plans and initiatives.
