The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released updated data on Russia’s combat losses since the start of the full-scale invasion.

Russia has lost an estimated 1,247,580 troops killed or wounded since the beginning of the war, including 1,250 casualties over the past reporting period, Kyiv claimed.

The estimated total Russian combat losses in Ukraine between 25 February 2022 and 9 February 2026 included:

  • Tanks: 11,654 (+3)

  • Armored combat vehicles: 24,013 (+3)

  • Artillery systems: 37,056 (+12)

  • Multiple launch rocket systems: 1,637 (+0)

  • Air defense systems: 1,295 (+0)

  • Fixed-wing aircraft: 435 (+0)

  • Helicopters: 347 (+0)

  • Operational-tactical UAVs: 127,962 (+413)

  • Cruise missiles: 4,270 (+1)

  • Fast attack boats / ships: 28 (+0)

  • Submarines: 2 (+0)

  • Vehicles and fuel tankers: 77,552 (+113)

  • Special equipment: 4,069 (+0)
