The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released updated data on Russia’s combat losses since the start of the full-scale invasion.
According to the report, Russia has lost approximately 1,215,900 troops in Ukraine since the beginning of the war, including 1,400 casualties over the past day (killed or wounded).
Estimated total Russian combat losses from February 25, 2022, to January 8, 2026, are as follows:
