Ukraine’s General Staff releases updated data on Russian combat losses

Ukraine’s Armed Forces have published updated figures on Russia’s military losses since the start of the full-scale invasion.

According to the General Staff, Russia has lost an estimated 1,185,080 (+1,460) personnel (killed and wounded) between February 24, 2022 and December 11, 2025.

The General Staff reports the following cumulative Russian equipment losses:

  • Tanks: 11,404 (+0)

  • Armoured fighting vehicles: 23,699 (+7)

  • Artillery systems: 34,992 (+23)

  • Multiple launch rocket systems: 1,564 (+1)

  • Air defence systems: 1,253 (+0)

  • Aircraft: 431 (+0)

  • Helicopters: 347 (+0)

  • Operational-tactical UAVs: 89,148 (+82)

  • Cruise missiles: 4,058 (+0)

  • Fast boats/ships: 28 (+0)

  • Submarines: 1 (+0)

  • Vehicles and fuel tanks: 69,507 (+157)

  • Special equipment: 4,022 (+3)
