Gogita Parjiani and Giorgi Gvichiani, who were reported missing after July 21, have been found. The information was confirmed by the cousin of one of the missing individuals to Radio Liberty on Friday.

According to the cousin, the two had likely left Kvemo Svaneti on their own.

Parjiani and Gvichiani were last seen in the village of Zegni in Mestia municipality. They were supposed to arrive in the village of Mcdi in Kvemo Svaneti, a distance of 28 kilometers. About half of this route, roughly 14 kilometers, passes through forested areas. Historically, residents of the village of Latali have traversed this path from Zemo Svaneti to Lentekhi.

The search operation for the missing individuals in Svaneti, specifically in the areas of Mestia and Lentekhi, lasted for two days and included the use of a helicopter.
