Moldova stands will all Georgians fighting for freedom, democracy, European future, Sandu

Moldovan President Maia Sandu on Monday expressed her support for “all Georgians fighting for freedom, democracy and a European future” following the country’s general elections on Saturday.

The President said her social media comment came following her communication with Georgian counterpart Salome Zourabichvili.

The President and the opposition are set to appear at a rally in central Tbilisi later today, after their rejection of general elections in which the ruling Georgian Dream party had secured almost 54 percent of the vote.

They claim the elections have been rigged by the GD authorities.
